# Lecture de fichiers MIDI

SongBook+ peut lire des fichiers MIDI normaux, mais il n'a pas de synthétiseur intégré pour produire des sons à partir de ceux-ci.

Pour générer des sons à partir des données MIDI, il est nécessaire d'utiliser soit un matériel externe connecté via MIDI (comme un clavier ou un expandeur), soit une application de synthétiseur d'un autre fabricant qui fonctionne en arrière-plan et reçoit les signaux de SongBook via « Virtual MIDI ».

Une application possible pour produire des sons directement sur l'iPad est par exemple « bismark bs-16i ». Si cette application est exécutée en arrière-plan avec « Virtual MIDI » activé, vous entendrez la musique directement sur l'iPad sans matériel externe.
