Per la visualizzazione di testi di canzoni o spartiti possono essere utilizzati file con estensioni PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, TXT.

## File musicali <a href="#toc165549854" id="toc165549854"></a>

Per la riproduzione di musica possono essere utilizzati file con estensioni MP3, WAV, AIFF, M4A.

## File Midi <a href="#toc165549855" id="toc165549855"></a>

Per l'uscita tramite MIDI possono essere utilizzati file con estensioni MID, MIDI, SMF.

## File video <a href="#toc165549856" id="toc165549856"></a>

Per riprodurre video direttamente sull'iPad stesso o su un monitor o proiettore esterno possono essere utilizzati file con estensioni MOV, MP4, MPV, 3GP, M4V e con i seguenti standard di compressione:

* Video H.264 Baseline Profile Level 3.0 fino a 640x480 a 30 fps
* Video MPEG-4 Part 2 (Simple Profile)

## File ChordPro <a href="#toc165549857" id="toc165549857"></a>

Per la visualizzazione di testi e accordi possono essere importati i file ChordPro con estensione .chopro.

## File LRC <a href="#toc165549858" id="toc165549858"></a>

Per visualizzare testi e accordi sincronizzati con file audio possono essere importati file LRC con estensione .lrc.

## File MP3 con testi incorporati <a href="#toc165549859" id="toc165549859"></a>

SongBook+ può importare testi da file MP3, se sono contenuti in un tag ID3 nel formato "Lyrics3 v2.00".
