# From LRC Files

## Import lyrics and chords from LRC files <a href="#toc165549793" id="toc165549793"></a>

Importing lyrics from LRC files works similarly to the method described above for MP3 files ([aus-mp3-dateien](https://docs.songbookplus.com/english/readme/songtexte-und-akkorde-importieren/aus-mp3-dateien "mention")).

However, you do not directly select the LRC in the song. Instead, SongBook+ searches for a file with the LRC extension that either has the same name as the song title or the assigned MP3 or MIDI file.
