# From LRC Files

## Import lyrics and chords from LRC files <a href="#toc165549793" id="toc165549793"></a>

Importing lyrics from LRC files works similarly to the method described above for MP3 files ([From MP3 Files](/english/readme/songtexte-und-akkorde-importieren/aus-mp3-dateien.md)).

However, you do not directly select the LRC in the song. Instead, SongBook+ searches for a file with the LRC extension that either has the same name as the song title or the assigned MP3 or MIDI file.
